ResinTech traffic coating system

EWS — Extreme Wear System

Reinforced broadcast durability for ramps, turning zones, braking zones and architecturally driven wear areas, escalating to the double-broadcast EWS-X for maximum-duty conditions.

EWS-S Sand configuration

Typical uses. Parking ramps, turning areas, braking zones, higher-abrasion areas and reinforced traffic conditions where a mineral broadcast system is desired.

Adds a fully broadcast reinforced epoxy layer below the HPP topcoat to create a more durable traffic assembly for higher-abrasion conditions.

EWS-Q Quartz configuration

Typical uses. Reinforced traffic areas where quartz media is desired for appearance, traction or a decorative mineral finish.

The same reinforced system logic as EWS-S, with quartz media replacing silica sand in the reinforcement layer. Quartz is a compatible reinforcement / finish choice, not a separate system family.

EWS-F Flake configuration

Typical uses. Decorative reinforced ramps, turning areas, braking zones and architecturally driven traffic areas where flake media is desired without giving up reinforced system performance.

The decorative media is full-broadcast flake instead of mineral aggregate, treated as a compatible finish option within the reinforced EWS class. Where required to preserve appearance, the HPP seal / top coat may remain clear or semi-clear so the embedded flake stays visible. EWS-F+ adds the FLEXCOAT-PU base beneath the flake system for new concrete where crack-bridging or movement accommodation is required.

EWS-X Double broadcast configuration

Typical uses. Extreme-duty ramps, severe turning areas, high-abrasion zones, loading areas and applications requiring maximum reinforcement and premium long-term protection.

Builds on the EWS architecture with a second fully reinforced epoxy broadcast layer, followed by an HPP topcoat and a CRU protective finish coat. The highest-duty assembly in the ResinTech family.

Configuration awaiting confirmation. This configuration includes a CRU protective coat. Product data for the current CRU kit is under revision, so the CRU layer thickness and the total build that depends on it are withheld until ResinTech confirms them. The assembly is shown for reference and is not presented here as an approved specification — confirm with ResinTech before specifying.

Optional CRU topcoat — awaiting confirmation

The design guide describes CRU as an optional premium protective topcoat over compatible systems and as an integral layer of EWS-X. CRU application thicknesses and the guide’s upgrade recommendations are withheld until ResinTech confirms the current kit — see the CRU product page or use the technical enquiry form.
